The new look of Microsoft 365 apps introduced alongside Windows 11 in June 2021 will become the default look for Windows 11 Subscription and Perpetual 2021 users.
[When this will happen:]
Preview: Available Now
Standard Release: We will begin rolling mid-August 2023 (previously late July) and expect to complete by late August 2023 (previously early August).
[How this will affect your organization:]
Users will no longer be able to use Coming Soon to switch back to the old look of Microsoft 365. All Windows 11 subscription and Perpetual 2021 users will receive the updated visuals. Users who used Coming soon to switch back to the old look will be impacted as well.
