User impact: Users may be unable to access Call Group Forwarding settings in Microsoft Teams (Preview).

More info: The impacted setting should be located under the “Notifications and Activities” tab in the Settings page in Microsoft Teams, but is missing.

This issue specifically impacts users who have opted in to Microsoft Teams (Preview) by enabling the “Try the new Teams” setting. Where possible, users can bypass impact by disabling the aforementioned setting.

Current status: We’ve completed development of the fix and we’ve successfully deployed the fix for validation in a portion of the affected environment. At this time, some users may experience relief and we’re now preparing the fix for broader deployment. Once complete, we’ll provide a resolution timeline.

Scope of impact: Any user who has opted in to Microsoft Teams (Preview) by enabling the “Try the new Teams” setting is impacted.

Root cause: A recent update to the Microsoft Teams UX removed the Call Group Forwarding settings from the settings panel, resulting in impact.
