User impact: Users may be unable to access the Exchange Online service through multiple connection methods.

More info: The affected connection methods include:
– Outlook for the web
– Representational State Transfer (REST) API
– Calendar access through the Microsoft Teams apps

Current status: We’ve identified that a code regression in shared cache on networking infrastructure is causing latency impact, which is causing networking calls to components facilitating user requests to fail with timeout errors. We’re investigating the source of the code regression to identify the underlying root cause and formulate potential remediation options.

Scope of impact: This issue may potentially impact any user attempting to access the Exchange Online service through Outlook for the web, methods utilizing the REST API, or their calendar through the Microsoft Teams apps.
