User impact: Users may be unable to access the Exchange Online service through multiple connection methods.

More info: The affected connection methods include:
– Outlook for the web
– Representational State Transfer (REST) API
– Calendar access through the Microsoft Teams apps
– Search through Microsoft Teams desktop client and web app

Current status: We’ve identified that the increased latency is likely occurring when attempting to return route keys necessary to facilitate the requests between a mailbox server and the network infrastructure. We’re confirming this theory and determining methods to remediate impact for all users.

Scope of impact: This issue may potentially impact any user attempting to access the Exchange Online service through Outlook for the web, methods utilizing the REST API, or their calendar through the Microsoft Teams apps.
