Title: Some users’ calls to a Microsoft Teams Auto attendant from any Session Initiation Protocol (SIP) device may fail

User impact: Users’ calls to a Microsoft Teams Auto attendant from any SIP device may fail.

Current status: The redeployment process is progressing without issue; however, it’s taking longer than initially projected due to incremental validations we’re performing to ensure it saturates as expected throughout all environments. Users whose environment has been remediated via the redeployment should no longer be impacted, and we’ll aim to establish an estimated time to completion for all users in our next scheduled update.

Scope of impact: Some users’ calls the Auto Attendant from SIP devices are failing.

Start time: Thursday, September 21, 2023, at 11:00 AM UTC

Root cause: A deployment made to address an unrelated event introduced a configuration issue that resulted in the impact.
