More info: Impact occurs for, but may not be limited to, users leveraging Microsoft Teams in the German, Spanish, French, and Italian languages. All Microsoft Teams connection methods are affected.
Current status: We’ve isolated a service update that intended to improve non-English language translations within Microsoft Teams which has introduced an impacting localization issue that is producing incorrect translations of “free until” in some languages. We’ve begun the deployment of our fix, and our current deployment timelines are estimating for it to have completed by Tuesday, November 14, 2023.
Scope of impact: Users with German, Spanish, French, and Italian languages set may be impacted when viewing others’ availability as depicted on their contact cards in all Microsoft Teams connection methods.
Root cause: A service update intended to improve non-English language translations within Microsoft Teams, introduced an impacting localization issue.
