More info: Affected users are also unable to join Microsoft Teams meetings via Outlook on the web. Impact is specific to some users utilizing the Microsoft Teams Mac OS V2 application.
Current status: We’ve confirmed that the final testing and validation of the fix has been completed and deployment of the fix has begun to the affected infrastructure. We expect to provide estimated time of completion in our next scheduled update.
Scope of impact: Impact is specific to some Mac OS users utilizing the Microsoft Teams Mac OS V2 application who are served through the affected infrastructure.

Root cause: A recent service update, applied to a section of infrastructure responsible for integration between Microsoft Teams and Outlook for Mac OS users, inadvertently contains a change which is causing impact.
