User impact: Users can’t override Data Loss Prevention rules in Outlook on the web.
More info: Users don’t see an override window popup to override the Data Loss Prevention rules, which subsequently prevents them from sending email in Outlook on the web.
Additionally, as a workaround, admins can update the organizational policy based on your organization’s legal and compliance policy or users can utilize the Outlook client.
Current status: We’re continuing to reach out to some affected users for additional testing, allowing us to confirm that impact is remediated.
Scope of impact: Impact may occur for all users where they can’t override Data Loss Prevention rules in Outlook on the web.
