Title: Users may be unable to override data loss prevention (DLP) rules in Outlook on the web
User impact: Users may have been unable to override DLP rules in Outlook on the web.
More info: Users didn’t see an override window popup to override the DLP rules, which subsequently prevented them from sending email in Outlook on the web.
Affected users could have bypassed impact by accessing the service using the Outlook client to override DLP rules.
Final status: We’ve deployed the fix to the impacted environments and confirmed with monitoring telemetry that the impact is remediated.
Scope of impact: Impact may have occurred for any user that attempted to override DLP rules in Outlook on the web.
