Users may not see the caller ID for incoming Public Switched Telephone Network (PSTN) calls

Title: Users may not see the caller ID for incoming Public Switched Telephone Network (PSTN) calls
User impact: Users may not see the caller ID for incoming PSTN calls.
More info: This issue may impact both the desktop client and web app of Microsoft Teams.
As a workaround and if applicable, affected users are able to migrate to the new Microsoft Teams as this only affects the old version.
Current status: While awaiting confirmation of resolution from affected users, we’ve observed that the deployment of our fix has not concluded as expected for some sections of affected infrastructure. While we expect that most users will no longer experience the issue at this point, we’re actively monitoring as our fix finishes its deployment to the remaining affected infrastructure to remediate impact entirely. We anticipate the process to complete, and for impact to be remediated, by the time of our next scheduled update.
Scope of impact: This issue may potentially affect any user receiving incoming PSTN calls.
Start time: Friday, December 1, 2023, at 8:16 AM UTC
Root cause: A recent configuration change for caller ID in Microsoft Teams is inadvertently preventing caller IDs from showing for incoming PSTN calls.
