User impact: Users can’t update calendar meetings in all Exchange Online connection methods and get a “Recipient Rate Limit” error.
More info: Impact is specific to delegate users that are attempting to update calendar meetings.
As a viable workaround, users can uncheck Request Responses for large calendar meetings in Exchange Online.
Current status: We’re continuing to develop a fix to resolve the operation causing the “Recipient Rate Limit” error, as well as attempting to reproduce the issue in our test environment. We anticipate having an approximate development and validation timeline by our next scheduled update.
Scope of impact: Impact may occur for some delegate users attempting to update Exchange Online calendar meetings.
Root cause: A subset of service infrastructure that facilitates calendar meeting updates is experiencing an impacting code issue that is preventing users from updating calendar meetings in Exchange Online.
