Current status: The previous attempt to deploy a fix was unsuccessful. We are continuing to work to deploy another fix to remediate impact; however, due to the complexity of the issue, this is taking longer than expected.
Scope of impact: Users serviced by the affected infrastructure may be unable to send email or experience a delay in sending email to the Microsoft Teams channel.
Root cause: A permissions related code issue was introduced in a previous Microsoft Teams update, leading to impact.
