User impact: Users can’t update calendar meetings in all Exchange Online connection methods and get a “Recipient Rate Limit” error.

As a viable workaround, users can uncheck Request Responses for large calendar meetings in Exchange Online.
Current status: We’ve made a change to the affected environment to address the impacting code issue and initial observations of service telemetry are positive, showing that that this has remediated the impact. We’re monitoring the service telemetry for a period of time to verify that the issue is fully resolved.
Scope of impact: Impact may occur for a subset of delegate users attempting to update Exchange Online calendar meetings.
Root cause: A subset of service infrastructure that facilitates calendar meeting updates is experiencing an impacting code issue that is preventing users from updating calendar meetings in Exchange Online.
