More info: Users who had access to the scroll wheel on their mouse, trackpad, or other mouse-related devices could have utilized that as a temporary solution. Users could have also minimized their window and brought it back to focus to temporarily restore the scroll bars.

The impact was isolated to the new Microsoft Teams desktop client and the new Microsoft Teams web app on a Chromium-based browser (such as Edge or Chrome) with Chromium version 121 and up. Users who used the new web app may have seen the browser’s native scroll bar.

Final status: The fix has finished deploying and it has resolved the impact.

Scope of impact: This issue may have affected any user who used the new Microsoft Teams through the desktop client or a Chromium-based browser (such as Edge or Chrome) with Chromium version 121 and up.
