Title: Users may see a blank screen and be unable to view screens shared by Teams Meeting Room (MTR) devices on mobile clients
User impact: Users saw a blank screen and were unable to view screens shared by MTR devices on Microsoft Teams mobile clients.
More info: Impact was specific to Android and iOS users.
While we were working to remediate impact, affected users that had access to the desktop or web clients may have used these connection methods to bypass the issue and view screens shared from MTR devices.
iOS device users could have manually updated to the Microsoft Teams app (Version 6.2.0) to resolve the problem for iOS devices, which was available to update from the App Store.
Final status: We’ve confirmed that our fixes for both Android and iOS users have completed deployment, and that the updated build versions are now available through their respective app stores. Any user without automatic updates enabled can manually download the following updated build versions depending on their device:
Android users through the Play Store: 1416/1.0.0.202402xxxx or higher
iOS users through the App Store: 6.2.0 or higher.
Scope of impact: Any user attempting to view screens shared from MTR devices on Android and iOS may have been impacted.
