User impact: Users intermittently may have been unable to access the Files tab in Microsoft Teams classic.

More info: Affected users may have seen the following error message, “There was a problem reaching this app”.
Impact was specific to the desktop client, Microsoft Teams web app worked as expected.

Final status: We’ve completed our revert and confirmed via service health telemetry that the issue was successfully remediated.

Scope of impact: Some users on the Microsoft Teams classic desktop client were intermittently impacted.

Root cause: A recent deployment to improve cache in Microsoft Teams classic desktop client introduced a compatibility issue and was preventing some users from intermittently accessing the Files tab as expected.
