User impact: Users may be intermittently unable to access the quarantine and submissions page within Microsoft Defender Air.

Current status: Our investigation has determined that a component of Microsoft Defender Air infrastructure responsible for facilitating access to the quarantine and submissions pages is encountering an unusual increase in traffic that’s causing the component to operate below expected performance thresholds, resulting in impact. We’re reallocating service load across the infrastructure to resolve this issue. We anticipate that the operation will be complete by Friday, March 15, 2024, at which time we’ll monitor our service telemetry to confirm impact is remediated.

Scope of impact: Any user attempting to access the quarantine and submissions page within Microsoft Defender Air may be intermittently impacted.

Start time: Tuesday, January 23, 2024, at 8:00 AM UTC

Estimated time to resolve: We anticipate that the operation to remediate impact will be complete by Friday, March 15, 2024.
