More info: While impact was occurring, we had recommended refraining from editing existing policies until we had resolved the underlying cause.
Final status: Following our additional validations with affected users, we’ve confirmed that our fix reversion has successfully remediated the impact.
Scope of impact: Admins serviced by the affected infrastructure may have been unable to see conditions for communications compliance policies in the compliance portal.

Root cause: A recent feature change, intended to update SIT policies for selected users, unexpectedly introduced a code regression which was affecting unrelated users’ conditions for communications compliance policies.
Next steps:
– We’re further analyzing the offending service change and the introduced code regression to help us identify similar issues during our testing and validation processes and before impact can be produced.
