User impact: Users may be unable to see video in the new Microsoft Teams on Windows devices.

More info: The impact is specific to Windows devices that are running on some Windows versions, such as versions N and KN, where a specific Windows media component (mfplat.dll) isn’t present. Affected users may see no video where the video is supposed to be displayed.

Current status: Deployment of the fix is progressing as expected. We continue to anticipate that the fix will be fully deployed by Thursday, March 21, 2024, at which time we’ll test to confirm that impact is remediated.
