User impact: Users may hear an echo if embedded audio is enabled when using PowerPoint Live in the new Microsoft Teams.

More info: Impact only occurs if a Mac user is present and unmuted in the presentation.

To avoid this issue, use the Share button within Teams to share the presentation, and make sure to enable the “Include sound” option.

Current status: We’re continuing to analyze recent service updates that may be contributing to impact to gain an understanding of the underlying root cause and develop an effective remediation plan.

Scope of impact: Any user may be impacted when joining a PowerPoint Live presentation that has embedded audio enabled and has a Mac user who is both unmuted and on the new Microsoft Teams clients.
