Title: Some admins may see missing data for Exchange SIT files in the Microsoft Purview content explorer

User impact: Admins may see missing data for Exchange Sensitive Information Type (SIT) files in the content explorer.

Current status: While the vast majority of affected admins have received our fix, we’ve observed that our fix’s deployment to a portion of the Europe region has been hindered, delaying our previously expected resolution timeline. We’re addressing the issue causing the delay, and we anticipate that our fix should resume normal deployment to the remainder of the Europe region by our next scheduled communication update. We’ll provide an updated resolution timeline once available.

Scope of impact: Some admins using content explorer in the Microsoft Purview compliance portal to review Exchange files related to SITs may be impacted.

Start time: Tuesday, September 5, 2023, at 1:13 PM UTC

Root cause: A configuration issue on a portion of infrastructure is preventing accurate data from populating when some admins view Exchange SIT files in the Microsoft Purview content explorer from the compliance portal.
