Any content added or modified after February 5, 2024, isn’t impacted. Source content isn’t impacted by this incident.

Current status: Our phase one fix remains on track to complete by Saturday, April 20, 2024. We’ll work through any residual tasks to ensure the fix completes over the weekend. This fix is expected to address the majority of items impacted by this event.

On Monday, April 22, 2024, we’ll begin a seven-day monitoring and testing phase so that we can fully assess which items remain impacted and fine tune our phase two fix, which will address those outstanding items. We’ll provide an update on the first phase of the fix and the pathway forward through the monitoring and testing period in our next scheduled update.

Scope of impact: This issue may impact the availability of some items when users perform content searches or use the News web part in SharePoint Online.
