More info: The impact is specific to Windows devices that are running on some Windows versions, such as versions N and KN, where a specific Windows media component (mfplat.dll) isn’t present. Affected users may see no video where the video is supposed to be displayed.
To bypass the issue before the fix is fully deployed, affected users can follow the instructions in this link to install the Media Feature Pack:

Current status: We’ve identified an unexpected issue with the fix and have halted deployment until the problem is resolved. Once the issue is corrected, we’ll redeploy the solution to the affected environments and provide a timeline for resolution.
