In May, we introduced organizational messages in the Microsoft 365 admin center for public preview. Based on customer feedback, we have added new capabilities like delivering messages in Windows 10. Now, at Ignite 2024, we are excited to announce that organizational messages is available to commercial customers worldwide.
Organizational messages help improve communication by allowing administrators, communication professionals, and leaders to reach people in their organizations through Microsoft products like Teams and Windows interfaces. This feature brings branded messages to enterprises, providing an engagement platform for them to use their voice and communicate with users through anchored popups in Windows 10 and 11 interfaces.
Enterprises can use organizational messages to drive product adoption, send urgent notifications, and share important information with their organization. The feature allows for centralized message creation, management, and review. Some key features include central management of template-based messages, message creation, product locations for messages, message scheduling, flexible targeting, approval workflow, and message activity reporting.
Organizational messages will enhance your organization’s communication abilities and keep employees informed and engaged. Learn more about this feature and share how you are using it in your organization. Note that certain features may depend on enterprise licenses.
