We are retiring ‘Help me create’ feature from Microsoft 365 Web

We are removing the ‘Help me create’ feature from Microsoft 365 Web in order to make our user experiences more streamlined and efficient. This change will impact web endpoints such as www.m365.cloud.microsoft, www.microsoft365.com, and www.office.com.

The ‘Help me create’ feature was introduced in February 2024 to assist users in creating documents based on their stated intentions using an LLM. However, with the Microsoft 365 app now incorporating Copilot for Work, we will be integrating AI-powered document creation into the Copilot tab. This will allow users to brainstorm ideas and create new content based on various sources, such as storyboards, scripts, agendas, and executive summaries within the Copilot chat.

The ‘Help me create’ feature will no longer be available on the Microsoft 365 app starting January 10, 2025. We want to assure our users that their existing workflows will not be negatively impacted by this change.
