In today’s fast-paced work environment, digital tools need to be efficient and flexible to adapt to different work styles. With the latest enhancements to Teams, users now have more options to customize the layout of the Teams window to suit their needs and improve productivity.
Teams now allows users to resize windows and panes, making it easier to streamline workflows, minimize distractions, and improve visibility. This flexible layout adjusts to each user’s unique work style, helping them stay productive and focused on their tasks.
Users can organize their workspace with Teams Snap, similar to Windows 11 Snap layouts, by choosing a side-by-side view of multiple applications. By resizing the Teams window, users can keep important chat threads visible while other functions are nested in pull-down menus.
Teams chat, channels, and activity panes can also be resized to tailor the view and concentrate on specific tasks while still accessing all functions of Teams. Additionally, users can adjust the zoom level to find the font size that works best for their vision and devices.
These new features are now available in public preview and will be generally available in the second quarter of 2025. Users can access the Microsoft public preview to try out these new features and enhance their Teams experience.
