In today’s fast-paced workplace, digital tools must be efficient and flexible to adapt to different work styles. Teams, a Microsoft app, has been enhanced to allow users to customize the size and layout of windows and panes, making it easier to streamline workflows and minimize distractions. This new feature is now available for public preview on Windows, Mac, and Web.
Users can organize their workspace by resizing Teams windows to fit their unique workstyle, similar to the Snap layouts feature in Windows 11. By adjusting the size of windows and panes, users can focus on specific tasks while maintaining access to all functions of Teams. In meetings, the screen can be optimized for up to 200% zoom to ensure important parts are visible.
Teams also offers additional zoom levels to accommodate different vision and device preferences. Users can easily zoom in or out to adjust the font size and overall zoom level to their liking without losing functionality. These new features are currently in public preview with expected general availability in Q2 of 2025. Users interested in trying out these features can access the Microsoft public preview.
