Users may be unable to access the Exchange Online service through multiple connection methods

Title: Users may be unable to access the Exchange Online service through multiple connection methods

User impact: Users may be unable to access the Exchange Online service through multiple connection methods.

More info: The affected connection methods include:
– Outlook for the web
– Representational State Transfer (REST) API
– Calendar access through the Microsoft Teams apps
– Search through Microsoft Teams desktop client and web app

Current status: We’re continuing to see increased latency on the network infrastructure. We suspect that the latency is due to an increase in calls being made to the Object Store. We’re working to gather logs of the requests to the network infrastructure during times of increased latency in order to review the calls in more detail.

Scope of impact: This issue may potentially impact any user attempting to access the Exchange Online service through Outlook for the web, methods utilizing the REST API, or their calendar through the Microsoft Teams apps.
