More info: While we focus on remediation, we’ve suspended mailbox migrations to prevent additional impact. As such, some admins may be unable to migrate Exchange Online user mailboxes until impact is resolved.
Current status: While analysis into the suspected service update and confirmation on the source of impact for this event progresses, we’re continuing with our reversion of the change which has taken a bit longer to complete than estimated. We’re continuing to apply our manual adjustments to known affected users to restore access to their archive mailboxes and expect an updated timeline for the reversion will be available by our next scheduled update.
Scope of impact: Impact is specific to some users, who are served through the affected infrastructure, attempting to access their archive mailbox using the Outlook desktop client or Outlook on the web.
