User impact: Users may be unable to use Microsoft Teams accounts on any Microsoft Teams certified Android devices.
More info: All types of certified Android devices are affected, including certified Teams phones and certified Teams Rooms on Android. Sign in failures may occur for both user accounts and room accounts. Additionally, users accessing Microsoft Teams on Android devices may be intermittently automatically signed out of Microsoft Teams. This issue is prevalent with devices running Intune Company Portal build 5882 and impacts devices from all original equipment manufacturers (OEMs).
Current status: Our validations of the fix are ongoing with the subset of affected users it was previously deployed to, although the timeline for a broader deployment is not yet confirmed. We’re continuing to monitor to ensure no adverse effects occur as a result of the fix for the users to which it’s been released. We expect the validations will complete by our next scheduled update, at which time we anticipate being able to provide a more clear timeline for the broader fix deployment.
Scope of impact: This event may impact any users who attempt to use Microsoft Teams accounts on any Microsoft Teams certified Android devices, including certified Teams phones and certified Teams Rooms on Android.
