Title: Document content may have not been positioned correctly after being exported to PDF from the desktop client
User impact: Users may have seen content not correctly positioned in documents when using the Export to PDF feature.
More info: This issue impacted Power BI desktop users only. While we were focused on remediation, users who had access to the Power BI web version may have been able to Export to PDF without any issues.
Final status: We’ve confirmed that the deployment fix has been successful, we’ve confirmed via telemetry that impact has been remediated.
Scope of impact: Impact was specific to desktop users who were being served through the affected infrastructure.

Root cause: A recent standard service update to a dependency service, which facilitates PDF rendering for exported Power BI documents, inadvertently contained a regression, which caused impact.

– We’re reviewing our standard service update procedures to avoid similar impact in the future.
