More info: For example, some users may have been unable to see the All Users and the Global Address List (GAL) address books. Affected users saw a “This folder is empty” message. Users may have been able to bypass the issue by searching for contacts or using the Outlook desktop and mobile apps.
Final status: We’ve determined that a recent standard service update inadvertently contained a code regression, which resulted in impact. We’ve reverted the offending change and confirmed that impact has been remediated.
Scope of impact: Impact was specific to some users who were served through the affected infrastructure.
