Current status: The unrelated deployment issue is continuing to affect the progression of the fix and the previously communicated resolution timeline. We’re investigating what’s causing the unrelated fix to stall so we can determine an effective plan to resume the related fix deployment.
Scope of impact: Anonymous users attempting to access Microsoft Whiteboards in Microsoft Teams meetings held via any connection method may be affected.

Root cause: Our mitigative efforts to address a different problem pertaining to Microsoft Teams admin center configurations regarding anonymous users’ access privileges led to the temporary suspension of anonymous users’ ability to edit or view whiteboards in Microsoft Teams altogether.
