Start time: Tuesday, June 13, 2023, at 8:45 PM UTC
End time: Wednesday, November 29, 2023, at 4:38 AM UTC
Root cause: A policy service change introduced a code issue that was preventing Policy Packages from being applied to batches of users via cmdlet, which was resulting in impact.
Next Steps:
– We’re further reviewing the policy service update to understand how the code issue was introduced, and to understand what prevented it from being detected in our update testing and validation procedures, which will allow us to prevent similar issues in future updates.
This is the final update for the event.
