More info: This event impacts the Microsoft Teams desktop app and the Microsoft Teams web client. Admins can view the correct counts through the Microsoft Teams admin center.
Current status: We’ve completed the development of the fix and have started the validation process. We anticipate this will have completed by our next scheduled update.
Scope of impact: Some users who are team owners may be impacted by this event when attempting to view member and guest counts for some teams.

Root cause: A code issue within a portion of the Microsoft Teams service infrastructure is causing roster summary values for some teams to be inaccurate, resulting in impact.
