More info: This event impacts the Microsoft Teams desktop app and the Microsoft Teams web client. Admins can view the correct counts through the Microsoft Teams admin center.
Current status: We’ve initiated deployment of the fix to the impacted service environments. We anticipate that the fix will be fully deployed by our next scheduled update, at which time we’ll test to ensure that impact is remediated.
Scope of impact: Some users who are team owners may be impacted by this event when attempting to view member and guest counts for some teams.

Estimated time to resolve: We anticipate that the fix will be fully deployed, remediating impact by Tuesday, February 27, 2024, at 2:30 AM UTC.
Root cause: A code issue within a portion of the Microsoft Teams service infrastructure is causing roster summary values for some teams to be inaccurate, resulting in impact.
