More info: Users attempting to play impacted Stream videos will encounter the error message: “This browser or app can’t play the video. Something might be outdated or not supported. Try again using a different browser or app.”

Current Status: We’ve completed the supplemental code needed to fix the dependency issue related to thumbnail display that was previously identified. That code is in the process of validation and is being prepared for deployment. Once the supplemental code is deployed, we can begin testing the full automated repair internally before rolling it out to all impacted environments.

Scope of impact: Any user may be unable to play migrated Stream videos in Microsoft Stream.
