Final status: We’ve reverted a recent change intended to optimize form rendering that included a code problem was leading to impact in order to alleviate the issue. After a period of testing followed by close monitoring of the issue, we’ve confirmed that the impact has been remediated.

Scope of impact: Impact was specific to users who were utilizing the Modern UI within the SharePoint Online service.
