More info: Some affected users reported that they may have been able to bypass impact by using the CTRL + V keyboard shortcut to paste images into the body of email messages in Outlook on the web.

Final status: The fix including the missing code has finished deploying and we’ve confirmed after monitoring telemetry that impact has been remediated.

Scope of impact: Users serviced by the affected infrastructure who attempted to paste images into the main body of email messages may have been impacted.

Root cause: A recent standard service change was missing an expected portion of code, leading to impact.
