Title: Users are unable to view images in the body of email messages in Outlook on the web

User impact: Users are unable to view images in the body of email messages in Outlook on the web.

More info: Specifically, affected users are able to successfully right-click paste images into the body of draft email messages, however once the email message is sent the image cannot be seen in the email by either sender or recipient.

While we focus on remediation, some affected users have reported that they are able to bypass impact by using the CTRL + V keyboard shortcut to paste images into the body of email messages in Outlook on the web.

Current status: We’ve observed that the fix intended to resolve the impact associated with EX723521 was not successfully applied to the affected infrastructure. We’re reviewing the attempted deployment to understand the reason for the failure, and formulate a plan to successfully rollout the fix and remediate impact to end users.

Scope of impact: Users serviced by the affected infrastructure who attempt to paste images into the main body of email messages may be impacted.
