Title: New Teams rollout schedule and changes to classic Teams availability

User impact: If action isn’t taken, users may lose access to Microsoft Teams.

Current Status: After March 31, 2024, a new Teams client will be rolled out, in stages, for users who are still on classic Teams. For users already on the Microsoft-controlled policy, the rollout includes installing the new Teams client for users who still have the classic Teams client and uninstalling the classic Teams client 14 days after the installation of new Teams. The actual rollout timeline will vary based on your tenant’s policy controls. For a full breakdown of the timeline and steps needed to be completed, please view:
