Current status: Following the completed deployment of our solution, our internal telemetry provides that impact has been remediated as of Monday, March 25, 2024, at approximately 3:00 PM UTC. We’ve received initial positive reports from affected users and are conducting a period of extended service monitoring so additional testing with affected users can be conducted to ensure that impact has been fully remediated.
Scope of impact: Users on the legacy Outlook for Mac client attempting to access their Exchange Online mailboxes may be impacted.

Root cause: A recent service maintenance change introduced a code issue that inhibits communication between legacy Outlook for Mac users and the Exchange Online service, which is resulting in the impact.
