More info: The issue only occurs when joining Microsoft-hosted Microsoft Teams live events from the “Calendar Peek” view in the Microsoft Teams desktop client. Users attending such events are recommended to join through a direct link via their web browser or through their Outlook calendar instead of using the Microsoft Teams desktop calendar.
Current status: We’ve finished developing a fix and are deploying it to our internal testing environment to ensure its effectiveness in resolving the impact. Once our validation efforts are complete, we’ll aim to provide an approximate deployment timeline.

Root cause: When a user joins the live event using the “Calendar Peek” view in the Microsoft Teams desktop client, data that ensures pre-recorded videos are tagged with values that maintain a high resolution isn’t transmitted as expected.
