Title: Users may intermittently receive no results when searching SharePoint Online sites

User impact: Users may have intermittently received no results when searching SharePoint Online sites.

More info: When affected users attempted to use the search function within SharePoint Online sites, they may have intermittently received an incomplete results page and the results never loaded.

Final status: While we were in the process of analyzing the SharePoint Online infrastructure components responsible for facilitating search queries and trying to reproduce the issue, affected users reported that the service had returned to normal health. We’ve been unable to reproduce the issue and all indications are that the issue is resolved. We’ll continue to monitor the service to ensure that the problem doesn’t happen again.

Scope of impact: Any user searching SharePoint Online sites may have been intermittently impacted.
