User impact: Users’ push notifications fail approximately five percent of the time for any Exchange Online connection method.

Current status: The reversion is currently 98 percent complete. We anticipate the majority of impacted users are already experiencing relief, while the remaining two percent of impacted users will experience remediation by our next scheduled update.

Scope of impact: This issue may be impacting any user and impacting push notifications.

Root cause: A recent service update intended to modernize various aspects of the Exchange Online service introduced a code regression that’s producing the small number of push notifications failures and causing the impact.
