Digital signage in Microsoft Teams Rooms allows you to display important information on the front-of-room displays when the devices are not being used for meetings. This feature enhances communication within your organization by showcasing company news, updates, events, and more. It enables different departments to share messages directly with employees and make the most out of your Teams Rooms hardware.
You can customize the signage mode to fit your organization’s needs by choosing whether to show room information alongside the signage content or have the content occupy the entire display. The activation and deactivation of signage mode can be controlled based on timers that you set, ensuring that users can always see the content even before or after meetings.
Microsoft Teams Rooms integrates seamlessly with supported digital signage providers like Appspace and XOGO. These partnerships allow you to easily create, deploy, and manage content for digital signage directly from their systems. If you’re not using a supported provider, you can still add custom web URLs as a signage source.
Managing digital signage settings can be done remotely and at scale through the Teams Rooms Pro Management portal. You can configure settings for multiple rooms at once, assign permissions to different users, and integrate with digital signage providers with just a few simple steps. This feature is currently available for Teams Rooms on Windows
