Microsoft 365 data residency offerings now available in New Zealand

We are happy to share that Microsoft 365 and Advanced Data Residency (ADR) are now available for businesses in New Zealand. This means that customers in New Zealand can have more control over where their cloud data is stored. The Advanced Data Residency (ADR) feature ensures that certain customer data is stored in New Zealand for services like Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, OneDrive, Microsoft Teams, and more. Additionally, Multi-Geo capabilities will allow customers to choose where their Microsoft 365 user data is stored at rest on a per-user basis. This new cloud region in New Zealand will provide AI and other cloud services to support digital transformation and the growth of the AI economy in the country.

This launch in New Zealand follows a series of datacenter openings in other countries over the past 20 months, including Poland, Italy, Mexico, Spain, and Taiwan. This expansion is part of our commitment to providing advanced technology and services to empower organizations worldwide.
